Condemns inflammatory statements made by Yassir Arafat, Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

Urges: (1) the Secretary of State to press Arafat to refrain from use of inciting and inflammatory rhetoric; (2) Arafat to condemn any and all terrorist acts aimed at Jews or Israelis; and (3) Arafat and the Palestinian Authority to continue to work toward fulfilling the spirit and letter of the Declaration of Principles, the Cairo Agreement on the Gaza Strip and Jericho Area, and any other agreements or treaties entered into by such Authority.
