Human Rights in India Act - Directs the President to report to the Congress on whether the Government of India is preventing human rights organizations from visiting India to monitor human rights conditions.
Terminates development assistance to India (except for specified health projects) if the President reports that the Government of India is implementing such policy.
Provides for the resumption of assistance if the President reports to the Congress that India is no longer implementing such policy.
