H.R. 1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act is a reconciliation bill aimed to reduce taxes and spending for various federal programs, increase the statutory debt limit, and otherwise address agencies and programs throughout the federal government. H.R. 4393 - Dignity Act of 2025 a bill to allow undocumented immigrants in the U.S. to earn legal status if they pass a criminal background check, pay back any taxes owed, and meet other requirements. H.R. 4213 / CRS R48705 -FY26 Appropriations Homeland Security- advocated against additional funds for the immigration detention and deportation system. HR 6397 - Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act - standards for facilities at which noncitizens in the custody of the Department of Homeland Security are detained. H.R. 5941/S. 3146 Restoring Access to Detainees Act - restore limited, free telephone service for detainees to facilitate consultations with legal counsel and to maintain ties with their families H.R. 1825/S. 3535 GRACE Act - amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to require the President to set a minimum annual goal for the number of refugees to be admitted. H.R.5604 - National Guard Proper Use Act: To amend titles 10 and 32, United States Code, to prohibit the use of a member of the Armed Forces to enforce the immigration laws. Refugee Protection Act - amending the INA related to resettlement and asylum processing (not yet reintroduced) TRACK ICE Act - a bill to require DHS report on enforcement flights (not yet introduced) Childrens Safe Welcome Act - to provide protections for children in immigration custody and align legal protections for children in immigration custody (not yet reintroduced) Executive Branch Asylum Processing - urged restart to affirmative adjudications that were halted in late November Enforcement/raids - monitored enforcement actions targeting Afghans, Somalis, and other asylum seeking groups/refugees, particularly post November 26, urged admin not collectively punish groups. Detention oversight - urged the administration to allow Congressional and stakeholder oversight visits of immigration detentions; urged release of detained Afghan clients; accountability over deaths in DHS custody Disappearances/flights/removals to third countries - urged the administration to halt executive actions to forcibly transfer and disappear noncitizens to third countries including Uganda, Ghana, South Sudan, Honduras, and elsewhere. Temporary Protected Status - urged redesignations and extensions of TPS for Afghanistan, Honduras, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Haiti, Syria and others Public Charge regulation Work Permit regulations - submitted comment opposing the regulations Expanded Travel Ban - urged the administration to reverse the entirety of the travel ban Presidential Determination on Refugee Admissions: Urged the administration to consult with Congress or a required and report to Congress outlining how the decreased numbers will respond to humanitarian need. Family Detention: Urged the administration to halt the practice of detaining children and families in immigrant detention.
HR 6056 International Human Rights Defense Act, establish in the Department of State a Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBTQI+ Peoples Executive Branch Global Magnitsky sanctions - submitted a sanctions recommendation to State and Treasury urging Global Magnitsky sanctions against the Bahraini Minister of Interior on the basis of torture and CIDT inside prisons under his control.
H.R. 3651 - Protecting Our Protestors Act of 2025 amends title 18, United States Code, to clarify the penalty for use of force to include force against protestors. No Political Enemies Act - Endorsed a bill to keep the Government from attacking individuals and organizations for their political speech or participation. (Not yet introduced) Executive Branch First Amendment & Free Speech - Urged the administration to discontinue its attack on First Amendment rights, including its decision to deploy the National Guard against protestors. National Guard - urged the administration to not misuse the National Guard to quell peaceful dissent and free speech. Insurrection Act - Urged the administration to not misuse the Insurrection Act to stifle constitutionally protected speech and actions.
S. 2198 Military in Law Enforcement Accountability Act: To amend title 10, United States Code, to limit the authority of the Department of Defense and other Federal law enforcement personnel to support civilian law enforcement activities, and for other purposes. S.J.Res.98 - A joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against Venezuela that have not been authorized by Congress. S.1071 - National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 urged Congress to remove harmful provisions targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion elements in the NDAA.
