Budget/Appropriations

Support passage of H.Con.Res.14 - Establishing the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2025 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2026 through 2034. Supported Mike Johnson for Speaker of the House. Support passage of H.R. 4178, the Enforce the Caps Act, which would extend federal spending caps through fiscal year 2029. Support H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, which would help cut government spending. Support H.R. 3174, the Made in America Manufacturing Finance Act, which would expand access to credit for American manufacturers under the Small Business Administrations 7(a) and 504 loan program. Support H.R.5371 - Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026, which provided a clean continuing resolution to extend funding through January 30, 2026, and also included full-year appropriations for several key departments.

Health Issues

Supported S. 832, the Ensuring Pathways to Innovative Cures Act of 2025 or the EPIC Act of 2025," bipartisan, bicameral legislation that fixes the Inflation Reduction Act's small molecule pill penalty to ensure continued R&D investments into small molecule medicines. Support H.R. 5256, 340B ACCESS Act to reform the 340B drug pricing program. Oppose extending the Affordable Care Act subsidies. Support H.R.6703 - Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act designed to cut health costs by, among other things, expanding Association Health Plans (AHPs) for small businesses, creating new "CHOICE" arrangements for tax-free health spending, allowing stop-loss insurance for employers, increasing PBM transparency, and funding marketplace cost-sharing.

Labor Issues/Antitrust/Workplace

Support H.R.5267 - American Franchise Act, which would clarify that franchisors are only joint employers if they possess and exercise substantial and immediate control over essential terms and conditions of employment, like hiring workers, firing workers, setting wages, and disciplinary action.

Small Business

Supported nomination of Kelly Loeffler to serve as Administrator of the Small Business Administration. Supported H.R. 1199/S.695, the Small Business Investment Act of 2025," which would dramatically increase private sector investment in American small businesses by rewarding investors for supporting small business. Supported S. 495 /H.R. 1163, the "Prove It Act," which seeks to reduce burdensome regulations for small businesses by empowering them to petition federal agencies to review proposed regulations that impact small businesses.

Taxation/Internal Revenue Code

Support extending the provisions in the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, as set forth in H.R. 1, the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act." Support additional reductions to small business tax rates.

Unemployment

Supported the H.R. 1156 - Pandemic Unemployment Fraud Enforcement Act, which would extend the statute of limitations for combatting and prosecuting the theft of COVID-era unemployment benefits, giving more time for law enforcement to complete current cases, open new ones and recoup billions of taxpayer dollars.

Support H.R. 5371 - Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026 Supported S. 100/H.R. 425, the Repealing Big Brother Overreach Act, which would repeal the Corporate Transparency Act. Support reforms that would limit the ability of credit card companies to raise processing fees on small businesses who accept credit cards for payment.
