Advocate for tax policy incentives that would promote the domestic cotton industry, including S.1919, the Buying American Cotton Act.
Monitor the Farm Bill reauthorization process. Monitor the implementation of agriculture-related provisions in P.L.119-21, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and educate Members on NCC's priorities, including commodity support programs. Educate Members and the Administration about sustainability initiatives within cotton supply chains. Educate Members about the current state of the farm economy and the importance of the farm safety net.
