Support FY 2026 funding for the Title V MCH Block Grant. Support FY 2026 funding for Surveillance for Emerging Threats to Mothers and Babies. Support $220 million in FY26 funding for the National Center for Health Statistics. Oppose administration efforts to dismantle USAID. Support $500 M for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality in FY 2026. Support adequate funding for CDC's Division of Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention. Support Medicaid program and oppose efforts to reduce federal funding to states. Oppose congressional efforts to reduce or eliminate funding through the Prevention and Public Health Fund. Urge Congress to preserve foreign assistance for global health that includes investments in international family planning at USAID and UNFPA. Support strong and continued funding for CDC Office on Smoking and Health in FY26.

Oppose efforts to repeal clean energy and climate provisions included in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and the Inflation Reduction Act. Oppose S.J. Res 31 to roll back EPA regulations to reduce hazardous air pollution emissions. Oppose clean air and clean energy roll backs included in FY 2025 budget reconciliation legislation.

Support the Protecting Healthcare and Lowering Costs Act of 2025. Support reversal of cuts to Medicaid and the ACA in the OBBBA. Support bipartisan congressional oversight and investigation into the firing of CDC staff by the administration. Support S. 1941, the Cure Hepatitis C Act of 2025. Support the Protecting Free Vaccines Act. Support the Family Vaccine Protection Act.

Support continuing funding for firearm violence prevention research at CDC, NIH, NIJ.

Support child nutrition regulations and oppose efforts to weaken existing regulations. Oppose any cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Access Program and oppose restricting the program's eligibility. Support passage of a farm bill that strengthens the SNAP program, restores funding cut in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, restores Americans trust in the federal government by making our food safer and healthier, makes healthy food more accessible and affordable, supporting family farmers and their communities, and ensuring our food is produced in ways that are consistent with our values. Support the TRUTH in Labeling Act (H.R. 4725/S. 2462).
