Transportation reauthorization (including maintaining transportation funding levels and road and bridge infrastructure improvements), traffic safety (impaired driving, passenger vehicle, and truck size and weight). Advocated for implementation of the HALT Drunk Driving Act law that was passed in 2021. Advocated for H.R. 2992 Preventing Roadside and Work Zone Deaths Act to ensure better roadside safety for tow operators, improving data collection of disabled roadside vehicle crashes, and creating strategic plans to improve roadside safety. Advocated for better education and awareness of slow down move over laws to protect all individuals stranded at the roadside.
