AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR THE BLIND

For the Websites and Software Applications Accessibility Act, HR 3417/S. 2974, which would ensure people with disabilities have equal access to websites and apps used in employment, state/local government, and commerce.

For the the Communications, Video, and Technology Accessibility Act, which would expand access to video programming and communications services for people who are blind, S4322/HR8327.

For the inclusion of funding and policy that would expand access to transportation options for blind americans who do not drive in the reauthorization of the surface transportation programs (esp. Build America 250 Act and Motor Vehicle Modernization Act), with specific asks for sidewalk accessibility funding, access to one-stop paratransit program pilots, and regulatory policy around accessible and safe autonomous vehicles.
