Transportation reauthorization (including maintaining transportation funding levels and road and bridge infrastructure improvements), traffic safety (impaired driving, passenger vehicle, and truck size and weight) and weighing in on these issues with Congress and DOT. Advocated for implementation of the HALT Drunk Driving Act law that was passed in 2021. Advocated for the introduction of H.R. 7353 the Magnus White and Safe Streets for Everyone Act. Advocated against the Perry-Massie amendment to H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2026, which sought to restrict NHTSAs ability to use appropriated funds for research and implementation of the HALT rulemaking.
