Protect Medicaid (no cuts) in FY26 budget/reconciliation.

ED and Congress urging Department of Ed to be maintained; Full funding for IDEA; Comments opposed to the Department of Education for the Agency Information Collection Activities; Comment Request; Annual State Application Under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Act as Amended in 2004 (ED-2025-SCC-0481).

Oppose FMAP cuts for DC Medicaid.

Support funding for DD Council work in North Carolina and California in support of disaster relief;

CMS settings rule and urging that it be maintained; Oppose reorganization of HHS; Opposing breaking up the Administration for Community Living (ACL) along with the transfer of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency (SAMHSA); Support Autism Family Caregivers Act; Support SSI Savings Penalty Elimination Act; Protect Medicaid (no cuts) in FY26 reconciliation/budget; NACDD Endorsement of Rep. Larsen's "Patients Over Paperwork Act" legislation to repeal Medicaid cuts in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA); Disappointment on changes to CDC website changes regarding vaccines do not cause autism; Support for passage of the Protecting Healthcare and Lowering Costs Act of 2025 to repeal all of the health care provisions in H.R. 1 and make permanent the enhanced Advanced Premium Tax Credits for purchasing marketplace health insurance plans and similar legislation to repeal the harmful cuts to Medicaid included in H.R.1.

Support "Raise the Wage Act; Oppose 14C certificates (subminimum wage for people with disabilities); Comment urging the Department of Labor to reject the proposed rollbacksto Section 503 regulations; Support for Schedules that Work Act to protects workers from unpredictable changes to work schedules; support the Part-Time Worker Bill of Rights Act to extend protections to the part-time workforce which disproportitely includes people with disabilities and caregivers.
