H.R. 1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act is a reconciliation bill aimed to reduce taxes and spending for various federal programs, increase the statutory debt limit, and otherwise address agencies and programs throughout the federal government. H.R. 4393 - Dignity Act of 2025 a bill to allow undocumented immigrants in the U.S. to earn legal status if they pass a criminal background check, pay back any taxes owed, and meet other requirements. H.R. 3486 - Stop Illegal Reentry Act increases the sentences that can be imposed for the criminal offenses of unauthorized entry (from 2 years to 5 years) and unauthorized reentry (from 2 years to 10 years). H.R. 4895 - Afghan Adjustment Act To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act and the Afghan Allies Protection Act of 2009, and for other purposes. S.2679 - Fulfilling Promises to Afghan Allies Act To fulfill promises to Afghan allies. Executive Branch Detention oversight - urged the administration to allow Congressional and stakeholder oversight visits of immigration detentions. Disappearances/flights/removals to third countries - urged the administration to halt executive actions to forcibly transfer and disappear noncitizens to third countries including South Sudan, Honduras, and elsewhere. Temporary Protected Status - urged redesignations and extensions of TPS for Honduras, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Haiti, Syria and others Parole - urged the administration to not terminate various parole programs and status attached to parole for those who had been previously admitted to the United States. The U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) - urged the administration to take immediate legislative and oversight actions to fully restore access to asylum and refugees access to basic healthcare, nutrition assistance, and social services. SIV Processing -Urged the State department to continue SIV processing at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad
Global Respect Act of 2025 - S. 2180 - To impose sanctions with respect to foreign persons responsible for violations of the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI) individuals, and for other purposes. GLOBE Act of 2025 - H.R. 4245 - To protect human rights and enhance opportunities for LGBTQI people around the world, and for other purposes. S.Res.195 - A resolution requesting information on El Salvador's human rights practices pursuant to section 502B(c) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 - a bill requesting the State Department to issue a human rights report on El Salvador. Executive Branch Global Magnitsky sanctions - Opposed the delisting of persons previously sanctioned for corruption under the Global Magnitsky program. Opposed the misuse of Global Magnitsky sanctions and visa restrictions in situations where such actions served to promote impunity rather than accountability or did not comply with relevant laws. International Criminal Court sanctions - Opposed the imposition of sanctions against International Criminal Court officials under Executive Order 14203.
H.R. 3651 - Protecting Our Protestors Act of 2025 amends title 18, United States Code, to clarify the penalty for use of force to include force against protestors. S.2838 - Protecting Our Democracy Act prevents abuses of Presidential power, restoring checks and balances and accountability and transparency in government, and defending elections against foreign interference, and for other purposes. FY26 Appropriations - Advocated for all appropriations bills to not erode civil rights protections, undermine the dignity of LGBTQ+ people, and entrench exclusionary policies into federal law. Executive Branch First Amendment & Free Speech - Urged the administration to discontinue its attack on First Amendment rights, including its decision to deploy the National Guard against protestors. National Guard - urged the administration to not misuse the National Guard to quell peaceful dissent and free speech.
H.R.3838 - Streamlining Procurement for Effective Execution and Delivery and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 Floor Amendments: 13. Norman (SC), Tenney (NY), Brecheen (OK) Amendment #31 Prohibits the provision of gender transition procedures, including surgery or medication, through the Exceptional Family Medical Program. 14. Mace (SC), Tenney (NY), Brecheen (OK) Amendment #31 Prohibits DoD from covering or furnishing gender-related medical treatment under TRICARE. 15. Mace (SC), Tenney (NY) Amendment #25 Prohibits the Superintendent of a Service Academy from allowing a cadet or midshipman who is male from participating in an athletic program or activity that is designated exclusively for females. 16. Mace (SC), Tenney (NY) Amendment #27 Prohibits the Secretary of Defense from soliciting information through a form or survey regarding the gender identity of an individual, providing an option to indicate the sex or gender of an individual is something other than male or female, and requiring the Secretary reject a response other than male or female to a required question on a form or survey regarding sex or gender. 17. Mace (SC), Tenney (NY) Amendment #50 Prohibits individuals from accessing or using single-sex spaces on military installations which do not correspond to the biological sex of the individual. 18. Mills (FL) Amendment #560 Restricts base commanders' ability to fly unauthorized flags at their discretion. 19. Onder (MO), Perry (PA), Fulcher (ID) Amendment #1146 Strikes Section 1110, which would prohibit DoD from implementing President Trump's Executive Order 14251, which exempts certain agencies from collective bargaining agreement protections, including the DoD. 23. Greene (GA) Amendment #1008 Strikes line 010 in Section 4301 thus removing funding for the Overseas Humanitarian, Disaster, and Civic Aid program. 25. McCormick (GA), Tenney (NY) Amendment #467 Amends Section 1555 of the FY24 NDAA regarding contracting for military recruitment to prohibit the Department of Defense from contracting with entities that perform fact-checking and information grading services for purposes of censoring their political opponents. 34. Meeks (NY), Roy (TX), Jacobs (CA), Massie (KY), Brecheen (OK), Crane (AZ), Burlison (MO) Amendment #806 Inserts the text of H.R. 1488, repealing the 2002 and 1991 AUMFs.
