Monitor the Farm Bill reauthorization process, including H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026. Monitor the implementation of agriculture-related provisions in P.L.119-21, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and educate Members on NCC's priorities, including commodity support programs. Educate Members and the Administration about sustainability initiatives within cotton supply chains. Educate Members about the current state of the farm economy and the importance of the farm safety net.
Monitor implementation of P.L.117-78, the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, as it relates to textiles. Educate policymakers on the trade policy priorities of the domestic cotton industry. Monitor USDA trade missions.
