Advocating for the introduction of federal Extended Producer Responsibility legislation that recognizes regional differences across the U.S., exempts highly recycled materials, such as paper and paper products, includes provisions for small business protections, and enhances recycling infrastructure and supports advanced recycling solutions. Advocating for a more balanced and effective regulatory system.
Advocating for Congress to maintain strong oversight of key regulators-including OSHA, WHD, EEOC, and NLRB-to ensure worker protections without unnecessary burdens on employers. Advocating for an update to the BLS NAICS codes to accurately reflect the scope of the printing industry.

Advocating for: The USPS SERVES US Act (H.R. 3004) which would empower the Postal Regulatory Commission with a clear mandate to protect the public interest and hold the USPS accountable for efficiency and service performance. No Regional Transportation Optimization (RTO) Act (S. 1604), which would prohibit the U.S. Postal Service from implementing the RTO plan or any similar initiative that the Postal Regulatory Commission concludes would negatively affect rural communities.
Advocating for the Patients Right to Know Their Medication Act (HR 5133), which requires the information to be provided in printed form. Opposing the Pharmaceutical Information Modernization Act of 2025 (H.R. 4132/S. 2027), which would allow the FDA to finalize a proposed rule permitting drug manufacturers to send prescribing information electronically, instead of on printed paper.
Opposing The Improving Disclosure for Investors Act of 2025 (H.R. 2441/S. 1877), which was included in the INVEST Act (H.R. 3383) and allows financial companies to default investors into e-delivery, which would disenfranchise millions of people by ignoring the consumer's choice of printed communications.
Advocating for removal of Section 232 tariffs and quotas on steel and aluminum, as well as timber, lumber and their derivatives (paper and paper-based products). Opposing the inclusion of aluminum lithographic printing plates in Sec. 232 tariffs. Opposing any potential tariffs under Section 232 on imports of robotics and industrial machinery. Calling for trade certainty to allow our members to plan and invest.
