Allow private critical infrastructure owners to use counter-drone technology.
This bill would give private owners of critical infrastructure facilities the legal authority to use counter-unmanned aircraft system technologies, equipment designed to detect, track, or disable drones. Currently, such technologies are heavily restricted. The bill is pending review by three House committees: Transportation and Infrastructure, Judiciary, and Homeland Security, which will examine the portions relevant to their areas of responsibility.
