This resolution requests that the Department of State provide Congress with information on Saudi Arabia's human rights practices.
The resolution also requests a description of the steps the United States has taken to promote human rights in Saudi Arabia and an assessment of circumstances that necessitate continuation of security assistance to Saudi Arabia. It also requests certain other items of information, including, for example, an assessment of the likelihood of Saudi Arabia using U.S. security assistance in the war in Yemen.
