This resolution recognizes the former Vietnamese flag as the official symbol of the Vietnamese-American community in the United States and honors and recognizes the contributions of Vietnamese Americans and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who served in Vietnam.
Referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and in addition to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
