Selena Commemorative Coin Act
This bill directs the Department of the Treasury to mint and issue coins in recognition and celebration of Selena Quintanilla, an award-winning Tejano music artist. All sales of coins issued under this bill must include a surcharge to be paid to the Friends of the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History to support the museum’s general expenses, including costs associated with museum operations and an exhibit on Selena.
