Grizzly Bear Review and Resource Restart Act of 2023
This bill directs the Department of the Interior to remove the threatened population of the grizzly bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) in the contiguous United States and the experimental population of the grizzly bear in portions of Idaho and Montana from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife. Such removal is exempt from judicial review. If Interior identifies a distinct population segment of grizzly bear in the contiguous United States that has recovered, then Interior must remove that population segment from the list as well.
Referred to the House Committee on Natural Resources.
