Helping Homeless Veterans Act of 2023

This bill permanently extends the following Department of Veterans Affairs programs and services:

  • treatment and rehabilitation for seriously mentally ill veterans and homeless veterans,
  • housing assistance for homeless veterans,
  • financial assistance for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program,
  • a grant program for homeless veterans with special needs, and
  • the Advisory Committee on Homeless Veterans.
