Mudslide Recovery Act

This bill requires the Department of the Interior and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to jointly establish a pilot program to make grants to eligible recipients to implement innovative solutions to repair damage caused by mudslides that occur after a wildland fire.

An eligible recipient is (1) a state, an Indian tribe, or a forestry agency of a state or tribe; (2) a local government; (3) a fire department; and (4) a nonprofit organization.
