Protecting Vice Presidents Act

This bill authorizes lifetime Secret Service protection to former Vice Presidents and their spouses and protection to their children under 16. Current law provides for six months of protection after a Vice President leaves office.

The bill terminates the protection of a spouse in the event of remarriage.
