Stop Militarizing Law Enforcement Act

This bill restricts the transfer of federal excess military-grade equipment to federal, state, and local agencies for law enforcement activities. The bill also restricts the use of certain grants funds for specified weapons and military-style equipment.

The Government Accountability Office must report on specified issues, including the use of military-style training and equipment by certain federal agencies.
