Springfield Race Riot National Historic Monument Act

This bill requires the Department of the Interior to conduct a special resource study of the site of the Springfield Race Riot of 1908 in Springfield, Illinois, and adjacent property.

In conducting the study, Interior must evaluate the national significance of such area and determine the suitability and feasibility of designating it as a unit of the National Park System.
