Small Business Cybersecurity Assistance Act of 2019

This bill directs the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide cybersecurity education and resources to small businesses and small business development centers.

Specifically, the bill establishes a Cybersecurity Clearinghouse platform, jointly managed by the SBA and DHS, which shall contain public-facing cybersecurity resources in a single location for ease of reference by small businesses.

The bill also requires DHS to develop educational cybersecurity materials and training programs for small business development centers to use when counseling small businesses. Such materials must address cybersecurity (1) policies and procedures, and (2) defensive and response strategies.
