This resolution reaffirms support for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

The resolution

  • calls on allies to uphold NATO's founding principles by strengthening democratic institutions, respecting individual liberty, and reinforcing the rule of law;
  • supports allies' continued progress towards a shared funding commitment; and
  • supports existing requirements for U.S. participation in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
