Protecting Lands Against Narcotics Trafficking Act of 2020 or the PLANT Act of 2020
This bill enhances criminal penalties for illegally producing controlled substances on federal property in a manner that causes environmental damage, establishes a fund to facilitate the recovery of lands and water damaged by illegal marijuana cultivation activities, and establishes the Public Lands Eradication and Remediation Partnership to coordinate activities to remediate lands affected by illegal marijuana cultivation or associated illegal activities.
