Stop Climate Censorship Act of 2019

This bill directs the Office of Science and Technology (OSTP) to issue policies, consistent with established scientific integrity policies, that require political appointees of the federal civilian agencies that conduct scientific research to report to the public on any action by such an appointee to

  • modify any scientific research or findings that are used to inform any agency communication to the public related to climate change, or
  • modify any agency communication to the public that is inconsistent with scientific research or findings related to climate change.

The OSTP shall review and update such policies biennially as necessary.
