Domestic Violence Records Reporting Improvement Act of 2019

This bill waives a condition that applies to certain grants for improving the accuracy and completeness of records in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System to encourage the inclusion of domestic violence records in the system. Specifically, the bill waives the requirement for a state to certify that it has a relief from disabilities program if the state's primary purpose for the grant is to improve access to domestic violence records.
