Fire Police Fairness Act

This bill includes additional firefighters within the definition of "public safety officer" for purposes of death, disability, and education benefits under the Public Safety Officers' Benefits Program.

Specifically, it includes as a public safety officer a firefighter whose primary duty during an emergency response is to secure the scene or manage traffic.
