Northern Mariana Islands U.S. Workforce Act
This bill extends by 10 years, through 2029, and revises the immigration transition program for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Among other things, the bill requires employers to receive a temporary labor certification from the Department of Labor before petitioning for a Commonwealth Only Transitional Worker permit and caps the number of permits.
