ANCSA Cook Inlet Region Land Conveyance Finalization Act of 2017
This bill requires the Department of the Interior to convey to Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), an Alaska Native regional corporation, land CIRI selects from specified areas to satisfy its claim to an additional 43,000 acres under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. CIRI is granted a right of notice and first refusal for federal land or property identified as excess in CIRI's region.
