Strengthening the Addiction Treatment Workforce Act

This bill amends the Public Health Service Act to include substance use disorder treatment facilities as medical facilities that may be designated as health professional shortage areas by the Department of Health and Human Services. The bill specifies the services that such a facility must provide to be eligible.
