Appalachian Ethane Storage Hub Study Act

This bill directs the Department of Energy and the Department of Commerce to study the feasibility of establishing an ethane storage and distribution hub in the Marcellus, Utica, and Rogersville shale plays located in the Appalachian region of the United States.

The study must include potential locations for the hub, the economic feasibility and benefits of the project, infrastructure needs, and potential benefits of the hub to energy security.
