Training Highly Skilled Americans Act of 2018
This bill imposes an additional fee on employers applying for or extending an H-1B visa, which are for temporary foreign workers in positions that require highly specialized knowledge. The collected funds shall go into the STEM Education and Training Account, to be used to strengthen U.S. education in science, technology, engineering, and math.
