SNAP-Ed Fights Lead Act of 2018

This bill modifies the nutrition education and obesity prevention grant program carried out under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (known as SNAP-Ed) to require the Department of Agriculture to ensure that program includes messaging and educational activities related to lead poisoning prevention and mitigation. The bill also modifies the requirements for state nutrition education plans.
