Transportation Workforce Modernization Act
This bill authorizes the Department of Transportation to make grants to institutions of higher education and other entities to establish curriculum for a transportation worker retraining program for workers displaced by the adoption of automated driving systems.
The Government Accountability Office shall study and report on the impact of driverless vehicle adoption on specified sectors of the economy.
