Strengthening the Tenth Amendment Through Entrusting States Act or the STATES Act

This bill eliminates regulatory controls and administrative, civil, and criminal penalties under the Controlled Substances Act for marijuana-related conduct and activities that are authorized by state or tribal law, subject to specified exceptions.
