Student and Student Athlete Opioid Misuse Prevention Act

This bill amends the Public Health Service Act to authorize the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to support programs for schools, athletic programs, or communities to prevent prescription drug misuse and addiction related to opioids and other medications for pain or injury recovery. SAMHSA must report annually on federal programs to prevent pain medication misuse and addiction.
