Buyback Our Safety Act

This bill directs the Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs (OJP) to establish a gun buyback grant program for state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies.

The OJP must enter into an arrangement with the National Academy of Sciences to develop standards to identify the guns likely to be used in violent crimes and to establish a pricing scale for guns purchased through a gun buyback program.
