Waiver of Emergency Payments Act

This bill directs that the federal share of assistance, including direct federal assistance, provided for Puerto Rico in connection with Hurricanes Irma and Maria under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act with respect to a major disaster (specifically, regarding essential assistance, hazard mitigation, repair, restoration, and replacement of damaged facilities, debris removal, and federal assistance to individuals and households) shall be 100% of the eligible costs.
