Methane Emissions Mitigation Act

This bill requires the Department of Energy (DOE) to perform research and develop technology in methane leak detection and mitigation.

DOE must also establish a technology clearinghouse for public access to information relating to technologies and best practices for methane leak detection and mitigation.
