Revamping American Infrastructure Act of 2017

This bill directs the Department of Transportation (DOT) to: (1) identify DOT regulations, guidance, and policies that establish prescriptive requirements for regulated entities and that can be replaced with outcome-based performance standards; (2) submit, and implement within two years, a plan for such replacement; and (3) ensure that regulations, guidance, and policies issued after enactment of this bill are issued as outcome-based performance standards.
