Flexibility in Family Sentencing Act of 2016

This bill amends the federal criminal code to authorize pre-judgment probation for a pregnant or postpartum woman who: (1) commits a specified low-level offense, and (2) is an addict.

The conditions of probation must require participation in a court-approved drug treatment program and periodic medical evaluations.
