China Market Economy Status Congressional Review Act
This bill amends the Tariff Act of 1930 to bar revocation of a determination by the administering authority (the Secretary of Commerce or any other U.S. officer) that the People's Republic of China is a nonmarket economy country unless:
- the administering authority determines and reports to Congress that China no longer meets the requirements of a nonmarket economy country; and
- Congress, within 45 days after the receipt of such a report, enacts a joint resolution of approval.
