Grand Jury Transparency Act

This bill amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to permit the Department of Justice to give preferential treatment to applications for public safety and community policing grants from jurisdictions that have a law or ordinance to make grand jury transcripts and other records publicly available.
