Supports the designation of the week of May 4-May 10, 2014, as Public Service Recognition Week. Commends government employees for their contributions and their dedication to and spirit for public service.
Honors government employees who have given their lives in service to their country.
Calls upon a new generation to consider a career in public service as an honorable profession. Encourages efforts to promote public service careers at all levels of government.
