Citizen Soldier Support Act - Amends provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 relating to the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (Program) (a program providing access to services supporting the health and well-being of members of the reserves and their families through the entire deployment cycle) to include outreach programs within such services.
Includes as an additional function of the Center of Excellence in Reintegration within the Department of Defense (DOD) Office for Reintegration Programs (Office) the development and implementation of a process for identifying best practices in the delivery of information and services in outreach programs. Authorizes the Office to assist states and appropriate organizations in developing and carrying out outreach programs for members and their families under the Program.
