Puerto Rico Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Restoration Act of 2012 - Amends the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (formerly known as the Food Stamp Act of 1977) to: (1) include Puerto Rico in the definition of state for purposes of supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP, formerly food stamp) eligibility, and (2) remove Puerto Rico from the consolidated block grant program upon the effective date of the amendments made by this Act.
Provides for the application by, and approval of, retail food stores in Puerto Rico for program participation.
