Recognizing Excellence in Veterans Education Act of 2012 - Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish an honorary Excellence in Veterans Education Award to recognize institutions of higher learning that provide superior services to veterans. Makes such Award valid for up to three years. Requires the Secretary, during the valid period of an Award, to indicate that the institution has received such Award on the list of institutions approved for veterans education benefits, as maintained on the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) website.
