American Jobs Preservation Act - Prohibits the Secretary of Transportation from issuing a public interest waiver of Buy American requirements under the highway, public transportation, aviation, or passenger rail programs before considering the potential impacts of that waiver on domestic manufacturing employment.

Requires the Secretary to issue a statement detailing the short- and long-term impact of each of those public interest waivers on domestic manufacturing employment.
